Is quartz glass right for my process?
Before you write
Fused silica runs continuously to 1200°C, handles fast temperature change, and resists hot mineral acids and organic solvents. It is not suitable when the process involves hydrofluoric acid (HF), hot concentrated phosphoric acid, or hot strong alkalis such as KOH or NaOH, and it is hard but brittle. If your process involves any of these, say so in your enquiry; engineering will tell you honestly whether quartz fits or another material suits you better.
